4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. 4-H is a fun and educational program for children ages 5-19. The Wilkes County Cooperative Extension Office plant sale is in full swing. Orders will be accepted through March 13, 2012. This year there are Blackberries, raspberry and many blueberry plants for sale along with many others. This year Wilkes County 4-H is traveling to the Eastern 4-H Center in Columbia, NC. Mark your calendars for the week of June 24-29. To learn more about the camp check out their website here

Happy New Year everyone. 2011 proved to be an eventful and successful year for Wilkes County 4-H. At times we were so busy our blog suffered.
